We saw a very large dragonfly in the dome today. The children had never seen one before and I not for years! We were in awe how its exquisite wings first rotated like a helicopter and then swiftly changed to a gliding motion. It seemed to have difficulty finding the way out and one child commented it was shy as it hid behind the kiwi tree (as in photo, can you spot it?). We left it, keeping an eye on the door & googled all about them. It appears they have magnificent eyesight. We soon spotted it gliding to freedom, leaving a little magic behind.
